SHAI for Barbers
Rebooking is the whole business and it happens by hand.
How this business runs
Rebooking is the whole business. A barber with a full book six weeks out is not better at marketing than one with a half-empty week - they are better at asking the question at the chair, and at noticing who has not been back.
The recommended team
7 agents from the roster, in the order this trade needs them.

The tasks that will run
Nudge the clients who are overdue
every weekday at 7amA client who is two weeks past their usual gap is deciding, not busy.
/ghl-pipeline · runs the agent · delivered to dashboard
Confirm tomorrow's chairs
every day except Sunday at 5pmA confirmed cut turns up; an unconfirmed one is a coin toss.
/ghl-pipeline · runs the agent · delivered to dashboard
Post this week's cuts
every Monday at 8amThe feed is the shop window, and it closes the moment the shop gets busy.
/organic-content-creator · runs the agent · delivered to dashboard
Report what filled the week
on the 1st of each month at 8amKnowing which post brought the walk-ins is what makes next month deliberate.
/organic-metrics · runs the agent · delivered to dashboard
Every one of these arrives as a proposal you approve or decline. Nothing is scheduled by signing up.
The tools to connect
Go High Level (GHL)
GoHighLevel is where the leads, the pipeline, the calendar and the conversations live. Almost every task below reads or writes it.
Meta Graph API (Instagram professional accounts + Facebook Pages)
Meta is where the audience is and where the ads run; without it nothing posts or reports.
Google Calendar
Google Calendar is what SHAI writes to when the booking does not live in the CRM.
Each one is your own account, connected once. Every tool carries its price and the exact steps.
The first week
- Connect the booking system and let SHAI list everyone past their usual gap.
- Turn on the confirmation task - it is the cheapest win in the trade.
- Give it this month's photos and let it write a week of posts.
What to read on a Monday
- Rebooking rate — The number that decides next month, made at the chair.
- Weeks between visits per client — When it stretches, the client is drifting, and it stretches before they stop.
- No-show rate — An unfilled slot is gone; a reminder recovers most of them.
- New clients per week — Enough to replace natural churn, and no more effort than that needs.
What SHAI will not do in this trade
- Anything that texts or calls a customer runs on a registered A2P 10DLC brand and campaign with the consent record on file. /ghl-a2p sets that up; SHAI will not send a customer message before it exists.
- TCPA: no call or text to anyone who has not opted in, nothing outside 8am-9pm in the recipient's own time zone, and an opt-out honoured on the first message it arrives in.
- Every message SHAI sends to someone who is not the owner says it is an AI assistant acting for the business (master prompt 4.7). It is never presented as a person.
- SHAI never writes a review, never offers anything in exchange for one, and never posts as a customer. It drafts replies to reviews that already exist, for the owner to send.
- Photographs of clients are their likeness; get permission before posting and record it in rights.md.
Every line in this file is a recommendation written from an operator's knowledge of how this trade actually runs, never a promise about a result. Cadences are starting points; the owner changes them. Compliance notes are a reminder to check, not legal advice. Written 2026-09-15.
A playbook is a head start, not a requirement: SHAI works for any business, and a trade that is not on this list gets the same agents and a general plan built the same way.
